Maldives Maafushi Parasailing Experience - Safety Briefing & Life Jacket Included

Meet your instructor in Maafushi and get ready for parasailing. The experience takes about 15 minutes, and the guide speaks English.

Attend a safety briefing and put on your harness

During a short safety briefing, you learn the hand signals used to communicate with the captain during the flight. After putting on the harness, you move to the platform with the parachute, and once you are seated, a staff member connects your harness to the parachute with two carabiners.

Fly over the lagoons of the Maldives

Hold on to the harness belt attached to the parachute as the captain speeds up the boat, the parachute fills with wind and you rise into the sky. Enjoy views of the sandy beaches and colorful lagoons of the Maldives from up to 100 m high. During the flight, communicate with the captain using hand signals.

Rescue staff are ready in case of a water landing

On very rare occasions, you may need to land in the water. In that case, the rescue team arrives on a jet ski within a few minutes to help you out of the water. You wear a well-fitting life jacket, so you can float safely in the water.
