Take a speedboat from Koh Samui
to Koh Tan and Pig Island
After pickup from your hotel by air-conditioned minibus, this group tour departs by speedboat from Bang Kao Pier in southern Koh Samui. Snorkel off Koh Tan, then enjoy kayaking, swimming and a meal on Pig Island (Koh Madsum), home to free-roaming pigs, before being dropped back at your accommodation. Pickup is between 8:30 and 9:30 AM for the morning program and between 1:00 and 2:00 PM for the afternoon program.
Snorkel in the waters off Koh Tan
About 20 minutes by speedboat from Bang Kao Pier, the boat anchors off the neighboring island of Koh Tan. Use the snorkeling equipment provided to swim and snorkel for about an hour in calm waters with well-preserved coral reefs. Life jackets are available on board for every participant.
Meet the pigs on Pig Island
A short ride from Koh Tan brings you to Koh Madsum (Pig Island), a small island with no running water or electricity. See the pigs wandering along the white sand beach up close, and spend about 2.5 hours kayaking, swimming, walking or relaxing on the beach.
Eat on the beach and return to Koh Samui
Enjoy a Thai meal prepared on the island beach while taking in the sea views and watching the pigs. Once everyone is back on board, the boat leaves around 2:15 PM or 6:30 PM and sails about 15 minutes back to Bang Kao Pier, where a minibus takes you to your accommodation.
