Cruise to Koh Tan and Pig Island
for a day on a three-deck teak boat
An air-conditioned van takes you from your accommodation to Nathon Pier, where you board a handcrafted three-deck teak cruise boat for a trip of about 7 hours to Koh Tan and Pig Island (Koh Mat Sum). A licensed English-speaking guide accompanies you, and breakfast and a lunch buffet on board, snacks and drinks, snorkeling gear, life jackets and travel insurance are included.
Set off at a relaxed pace
with breakfast on a spacious deck
At the pier, the reception team checks you in before you board. While you enjoy a light breakfast of cereal, freshly baked pastries, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, milk and seasonal fruit, the guide introduces the day's plan and shares stories about the two islands.
The boat has three spacious decks and two restrooms, and the open-top second level has sunbathing mattresses where you can relax with sea views.
Snorkel at Koh Tan
and enjoy a lunch buffet on board
Spend about an hour snorkeling at Koh Tan, known as a snorkeling spot in southern Thailand. Staff provide basic snorkeling instructions and look after your safety, so beginners can join comfortably.
After snorkeling, a freshly prepared lunch buffet is served on board, prepared by the kitchen team of Krua Savoey restaurant on Koh Samui, with Thai dishes, soup, seasonal salad, pastries, tropical fruit and drinks.
Meet the pigs on Pig Island
and enjoy kayaking and beach time
Step ashore on Koh Mat Sum, nicknamed Pig Island, to meet and feed the friendly village pigs. You then have about two hours of free time for kayaking (kayak option), swimming or relaxing on the beach.
In the afternoon, you return to Nathon Pier on the cruise boat with snacks and drinks while taking in the island views, and a shared van takes you back to your accommodation.
