Marine Park by speedboat
Between 7:30 and 8:20 AM, a minivan picks you up from your accommodation in Koh Samui and takes you to the speedboat pier in Bang Rak. After a safety briefing and a light breakfast, you head out to Ang Thong Marine National Park by speedboat.
The tour of about 7.5 hours stops at four islands, Koh Wao, Koh Wua Talab, Koh Paluay and Koh Mae Ko, for snorkeling, kayaking, hiking and a lunch buffet. Snorkeling and kayaking gear, life jackets, drinks and seasonal fruit are included, and an English-speaking guide accompanies you.
Snorkel in the clear waters
of Koh Wao
First, stop at Koh Wao, made up of three small islands, for about 1 hour of snorkeling. The shallow bay between the islands has clear water that is ideal for spotting marine life.
Swim on Koh Wua Talab's beach
and kayak or hike to a viewpoint
On Koh Wua Talab, the main island of the marine park, swim and stroll on a white sand beach with turquoise water. Then kayak along the shore or hike up to Pha Chan Charat Viewpoint to take in the park's scenery.
Lunch on Koh Paluay and the
Emerald Lagoon viewpoint on Koh Mae Ko
Around 1:30 PM, enjoy a Thai lunch buffet at a restaurant on Koh Paluay, an island still home to sea nomads who live by fishing.
Finally, visit Koh Mae Ko and climb to the viewpoint overlooking the Emerald Lagoon. You head back to Koh Samui around 4 PM and arrive at your accommodation around 5:30 PM.
