Take a speedboat from Koh Samui
to Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan in one day
This day trip from Koh Samui combines snorkeling and relaxing on two islands, Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan. Around 8:00 AM, you are picked up from your hotel by air-conditioned minivan and taken to Bophut Pier, where you have a light breakfast snack before boarding the speedboat. The roughly 90-minute ride across the Gulf of Thailand offers views of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.
Snorkel the coral reefs of Koh Tao
On arrival at Koh Tao, you snorkel at one of Mango Bay, Hin Wong Bay or Lighthouse Bay. The spot is chosen to suit the day's weather and season, and you can explore coral reefs home to tropical fish in clear water.
Enjoy a Thai lunch buffet at a local restaurant
After snorkeling, you head to a local restaurant on Koh Tao for a lunch buffet of Thai dishes such as pad thai, curry and seafood. Halal options are also available.
Visit the Koh Nang Yuan viewpoint
and the Japanese Gardens
In the afternoon, you cross over to nearby Koh Nang Yuan. Climb to the viewpoint for a panorama of the surrounding islands or relax on the white sand beach, and snorkel again at the Japanese Gardens, known for its shallow coral reef.
Around 3:00 PM, you return to Koh Samui by speedboat. From Bophut Pier, the driver takes you back to your hotel, and the day ends around 5:00 PM.
