This is a twilight cruise of about 2 hours that departs from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha near Al Bustan Palace and sails along the Muscat coast aboard a traditional Omani wooden dhow. Take in the coastal scenery and landmarks of Oman's capital from the sea and watch the sunset from the deck at dusk. If you choose the hotel pickup option, you travel by vehicle from your hotel in Muscat to the marina in about 30 minutes.

The dhow sails past the Al Bustan Palace hotel, the 17th-century Portuguese-era Al Mirani Fort, Al Jalali Fort and Al Alam Palace. Spend about an hour sightseeing along the coast with commentary while enjoying Omani coffee, dates and light refreshments on board.

from the dhow deck

The highlight of the cruise is the sunset seen from the deck of the traditional dhow. Spend about 30 minutes photographing the glowing sea and coastline, then sail back to the marina in about 30 minutes.
