This roughly 4-4.5 hour snorkeling tour takes you by speedboat about 25 minutes from Muscat to the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve. Explore the underwater world at two different snorkeling spots and refuel with sandwiches, snacks, cold water and juice.

Depending on your option, you depart from Seeb Port or Al Mouj Marina. Snorkeling gear and the Ministry of Environment snorkeling permit are included, and certified staff accompany you.

Head to the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve

Protected as a nature reserve since 1996, the Daymaniyat Islands have restricted access. They are an important habitat for hawksbill and green turtles and migratory birds, including the increasingly rare sooty falcon. From November to April you can land and relax on the beach, but from May to October beach access is not allowed.

Discover waters visited by turtles

Turtles have been coming to these islands for centuries, and three species can be found here all year round. You can also learn how turtles lay their eggs on the islands.

Observe coral reefs and diverse marine life

Schools of fish swim among a wide variety of hard and soft corals, and you may spot honeycomb moray eels, stingrays and sometimes blacktip sharks. In summer, whale sharks may also appear. Please observe marine life without touching it.
