Program
Explore three Krabi islands
by longtail boat
After pickup from your hotel in the Ao Nang area, take a short drive to Nopparat Thara Pier and board a traditional longtail boat. With an English-speaking guide, you will visit Chicken Island, Talay Waek and Koh Poda in turn on this half-day trip.
For the morning tour, hotel pickup is between 7:15 and 7:45 AM and you return around noon. The afternoon tour runs from 1:30 to 6:00 PM. Mornings offer quieter beaches, while afternoons bring soft late-afternoon light.
Snorkel the coral reef at Chicken Island
Your first stop, Chicken Island (Koh Kai), is named after the limestone rock at its tip that resembles a chicken's head and neck. Spend about 45 minutes swimming and snorkeling among schools of tropical fish and coral around the reef. Snorkeling gear and life jackets are provided, and back on the boat, the guide positions it so you can take photos with the famous rock in the background.
Walk the sandbar at Talay Waek
After a short break with seasonal fruit, local snacks and drinking water, head to Talay Waek, known as the 'separated sea'. At low tide, a sandbar appears between the islands, letting you walk with turquoise water on both sides. You stay here for about 1.5 hours.
Swim and relax on Koh Poda's beach
The final stop, Koh Poda, has a long stretch of fine white sand facing the Andaman Sea. Enjoy about an hour of free time to swim or sunbathe, then return by boat to Nopparat Thara Pier and drive back to your hotel.
