Get picked up at your hotel
and head to Ao Nang Elephant Sanctuary
After pickup from your accommodation, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Ao Nang Elephant Sanctuary. On arrival, meet your English-speaking guide and learn about the history, behavior and diet of Thai elephants, as well as the story of each individual elephant.
Feed bananas and bond with the elephants
Receive bananas and hand-feed the free-roaming elephants. While the guide explains their lifestyle and behavior, you can pet the elephants and take photos. You will also hear how these elephants were rescued from logging and riding work.
Enjoy a mud spa and a bath together
After meeting all the elephants, join them for a mud spa, applying mud that works as a natural sunscreen to their skin. Then walk with the elephants into the water, scrub them with brushes and watch them enjoy playing in the water up close.
Finish with photos and seasonal fruit
Take final photos with the freshly bathed elephants, then have time to change into dry clothes. Taste fresh seasonal fruit and coconut water before returning to your hotel by vehicle.
