This half-day tour takes you kayaking slowly across the clear waters of Klong Root Crystal Lagoon, one of Krabi's hidden gems. Surrounded by rainforest and limestone cliffs, the calm freshwater lagoon is easy to paddle even for first-time kayakers. After kayaking, you can swim freely and relax in the lagoon. Depending on the option, you can add an ATV ride along forest trails or a 1-hour Thai oil massage, and hotel pickup and drop-off in the Ao Nang area are included.
Program
Get picked up from your hotel and head
to Klong Root Crystal Lagoon
After pickup from your hotel in the Ao Nang area, you travel about 20 minutes by car to the lagoon. On arrival, your guide gives a safety briefing of about 10 minutes and hands out kayaking equipment, life jackets and dry bags.
Kayak and swim in the clear lagoon
For about 3 hours, you kayak on calm water surrounded by rainforest and limestone cliffs and swim freely in the crystal-clear lagoon. Along the way, you can enjoy scenic views and spot marine life and wildlife. A local guide stays with you throughout the tour and can help you paddle if you wish. Drinking water and seasonal fruit are provided during the tour.
Add an ATV ride or a Thai oil massage
The "Kayak & Swim + ATV" option adds a beginner-friendly ATV ride along scenic forest trails. With the "Kayak & Swim + Thai Oil Massage" option, you can relax with a 1-hour Thai oil massage after kayaking. At the end, you return to Ao Nang by car in about 20 minutes.
