Ride a longtail boat to see
the Railay sunset and glowing plankton
After an afternoon pickup from your hotel in the Ao Nang area, you board a traditional longtail boat at Ao Nang Pier. Cruising along Krabi's limestone coastline, you stop at Phra Nang Cave and Railay Beach, then swim with bioluminescent plankton after sunset. The tour takes about 4 hours, and the guide speaks Thai and English.
Visit the sacred Phra Nang Cave
Your first stop is Phra Nang Cave. It is home to a spirit house where locals pray for safe travels and good fortune, giving you a glimpse of local beliefs in Krabi.
Swim and watch the sunset at Railay Beach
Relax at Railay Beach, surrounded by towering cliffs. As the sun sets over the Andaman Sea, you can swim or take photos. Beach mats, a snack box and fruit are provided.
Swim with bioluminescent plankton in the night sea
When darkness falls, you enter the sea and swim among plankton that sparkle like tiny stars. Life jackets are provided, and you return to Ao Nang after the tour.
