Forest Adventure Beppu is located in Beppu, a historic hot spring town popular with visitors from overseas. It is easy to reach, about 10 minutes by car from Beppu IC and about 20 minutes from Yufuin. At nearby Lake Shidaka you can also enjoy camping, barbecues and boating with seasonal lakeside scenery, making for a full day in nature.
The dynamic Adventure Course, 10 m high on average
The Adventure Course makes the most of Beppu's nature, with an average height of 10 m. If you want thrilling treetop activities, take on this course. It is for ages 10+ and at least 140 cm tall, and takes about 2 hours.
The Canopy Course, a great first challenge for the whole family
The Canopy Course runs about 1–8 m above the ground. From small children to those who are afraid of heights, the whole family can easily enjoy their Forest Adventure debut. It is for those at least 110 cm tall and takes about 1 hour.
Choose your course and time slot
Options differ by course (Adventure Course or Canopy Course) and start time (from 10:00 or from 14:00). Show your QR code at the reception at your reserved time to start.
※ It may take longer depending on how crowded the park is. You may stop partway if you wish.
※ The ground activity for ages 3+ (unlimited play for 1 hour) can be booked on site without a reservation (separate fee).
※ Courses may be closed or use suspended due to weather or safety reasons.

By car, it takes about 10 minutes from Beppu IC on the Higashikyushu Expressway (toward Yufuin) and about 15 minutes from Yufudake Smart IC on the Oita Expressway.
By public transport, take a bus bound for Yufuin via Lake Shidaka from the west exit of JR Beppu Station to the Shidakokohan bus stop (about 30 minutes), or a bus bound for Yufuin to the Torii bus stop (about 25 minutes) and walk about 18 minutes to the park. From the bus center in front of JR Yufuin Station, take a bus bound for Beppu West Exit to Shidakokohan (about 29 minutes) or Torii (about 26 minutes, then about 18 minutes on foot).
