This is a private experience of about 6 hours where you learn jungle survival skills passed down through generations with an indigenous Aeta community. Deep in the forest, discover how the Aeta have lived in harmony with nature, and learn the skills hands-on with an experienced Aeta survival instructor. A private vehicle picks you up at your hotel in Manila, Subic or Clark and takes you back afterwards, and the instructor guides in English.

Start a fire without matches and make survival tools

Learn how to start a fire the traditional way without modern tools, and make bamboo utensils and survival tools from natural materials found in the forest. See up close how natural materials are turned into practical everyday tools.

Watch bow and arrow and blowgun demonstrations

Watch demonstrations of traditional hunting methods using the bow and arrow and the blowgun used by the Aeta people. Learn about the indigenous knowledge that has helped them live in the forest, with explanations from your instructor.

Cook with fresh-cut bamboo and taste the food

The highlight of the experience is traditional bamboo cooking. Rice and local food are cooked inside fresh-cut bamboo over a campfire, and you get to taste them. Experience the ingenious indigenous cooking methods surrounded by nature.
