It is a family-friendly experience for curious kids and adults alike.
Meet your English-speaking guide at the main entrance of Manila Ocean Park and spend about 2 hours exploring the underwater world of the Philippine archipelago. The tour begins at the oceanarium, where your guide explains why the Philippines, located in the Coral Triangle, has such rich marine biodiversity.
At the Shark & Ray Zone, observe nurse sharks, blackspotted stingrays, Jenkins' whiprays and leopard whiprays, and learn what role they play in balancing marine ecosystems. Then step into the 25 m long 220° underwater tunnel and watch sharks, rays and tropical fish swim above and around you, as if walking on the seabed.
The Bahura coral reef exhibit has 48 aquariums filled with reef fish and invertebrates. Learn why coral reefs support about 25% of all marine life even though they cover less than 1% of the ocean floor.
At the Laot exhibit, meet native Philippine marine life such as giant groupers and eagle rays. Your guide explains how the many islands of the Philippines create unique habitats and why these species are vulnerable to overfishing and habitat loss.
The tour ends with stories about the park's ocean conservation work, including the 'I Love My Ocean Planet' campaign, reducing plastic pollution, coastal clean-ups and coral reef restoration. Your guide also shares simple actions travelers can take to help protect the ocean.
※ The schedule may be adjusted slightly due to visitor numbers, animal welfare or operational reasons, but the overall itinerary is not affected.
※ Admission to other attractions at the park, such as the Antarctic penguin habitat, sea lion show and Reptile World, is not included.
