Highlights
This small-group tour departs from your hotel in Manila and takes you to the active Taal Volcano and a hidden waterfall in one day. Ride a boat on Taal Lake for about 1 hour 30 minutes to get close to the volcano, where you may also see sulfur dioxide rising from it. Enjoy a front-facing view of the volcano at Picnic Grove, then walk for 30 minutes through the lush rainforest of Laurel, Batangas, to the secluded Ambon Mini Falls. for Taal Volcano
Get picked up at Dusit Thani Manila (Makati) or Midas Hotel and Casino, whichever you selected when booking, and depart in an air-conditioned vehicle. Head toward Tagaytay, known for its beautiful views and cool climate, accompanied by a driver/host.
Get close to Taal Volcano by boat
Ride a boat on Taal Lake for about 1 hour 30 minutes to view the active Taal Volcano up close. Landing on the volcano island is restricted, but you may see sulfur dioxide rising from the volcano.
Enjoy lunch in Tagaytay and the view from Picnic Grove
Have a lunch break in Tagaytay with views of the volcano (meal not included). Then head to Picnic Grove to admire a panoramic front view of Taal Volcano and take photos.
Trek through the rainforest to Ambon Mini Falls
Trek for 30 minutes through the lush rainforest of Laurel, Batangas, to reach Ambon Mini Falls, a spot rarely visited by tourists. After the tour, enjoy a scenic drive back to your selected drop-off point (Dusit Thani Manila or Midas Hotel and Casino).
