At Aqua Planet Jeju on Seopjikoji, follow exhibits recreating the seas of Jeju and the five oceans, from the Arctic, Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans to the Southern Ocean, and meet a wide range of marine life. In front of the huge 23 m main tank, "Sea of Jeju", rays and schools of fish glide right past you. The ticket also covers the Ocean Arena special performance on B1 and the special exhibition on the 2nd floor. With the rainforest-themed Ocean Adventure zone and a touch pool, it is a great visit for families with children.

Meet marine life from the five oceans
at Aqua Planet Jeju on Seopjikoji

Aqua Planet Jeju is a large aquarium covering 25,600 m² with a total water capacity of 10,800 tons. It consists of four areas, the aquarium, ocean stage, marine science center and performance hall, and is home to about 48,000 marine creatures including giant sharks, seals, penguins, rays and tropical fish.

This ticket covers the aquarium (B1 to 2F), the Ocean Arena special performance and the special exhibition. Open daily from 09:30 to 18:00.

Walk through the sea of Jeju and the five oceans

Enter on the 2nd floor, where exhibits recreate the seas of Jeju and the Arctic, Atlantic, Pacific, Indian and Southern Oceans, each showing representative marine life.

The 1st floor, themed "A Magical Encounter Between the Ocean and the Jungle", lets you observe seals and penguins up close. After the rainforest-themed "Ocean Adventure", you can touch sea creatures such as starfish and conches at the touch pool.

Stand before the "Sea of Jeju" main tank

The main tank on B1 is 23 m long and 8.5 m high, and it reportedly took two full weeks just to fill it. Watching rays and schools of fish swim behind the 60 cm-thick acrylic panels feels like stepping into a 3D movie.

Next to the main tank there is also a dining space where you can eat while watching the tank (meals at your own expense).

Enjoy the Ocean Arena show and special exhibition

The Ocean Arena special performance on B1 runs for about 40 minutes at 10:50, 12:50, 14:50 and 16:20. Part 1 is the ocean musical "Aqua Marine Show (Haenyeo: The Adventure of Mang Sari)" about Jeju's women divers, and Part 2 is "Story of Sea Lion Chiko" told by the aquarists.

In the special exhibition hall on the 2nd floor, you can see the exhibition "Water and Breath: The Sea of Jeju Haenyeo".
