Underwater World Langkawi is one of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia, home to more than 5,000 animals including fish, birds and mammals. Built around the themes of knowledge, education and entertainment, it aims to raise awareness of conserving aquatic life and the bond between people and nature.

The aquarium is divided into three main zones, the Marine Life Area, Rainforest Area and Sub-Antarctic Area, and tickets are valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

Pass through a 15-metre tunnel tank and coral reefs

Explore the hexagonal tank with its "Sunken Ship" theme and walk through the 15-metre tunnel tank surrounded by marine life. Discover unusual sea creatures in the Invertebrate and Coral Reef sections, along with venomous moray eels and lionfish. There is also an outdoor koi pond.

Explore the rainforest and river ecosystem

Marvel at the giant arapaima in the Preview Tank and see freshwater fish and reptiles in the River Ecosystem. The Tropical Rainforest aviary is home to flamingoes, macaws and marmosets, the world's smallest monkeys.

Meet penguins in the Sub-Antarctic section

Watch playful South American fur seals and African penguins in the Temperate section, then meet Rockhopper penguins at the Penguinarium in the Sub-Antarctic section, Malaysia's leading facility for breeding them.
