Ride the SkyCab cable car
to the summit of Mount Machincang

This is a SkyCab cable car ticket at Panorama Langkawi, the geo-theme park in Langkawi, Malaysia. Board a gondola at the base station in Oriental Village at the foot of Mount Machincang and ride up to the summit, more than 650 m above sea level. The standard SkyCab ticket includes free entry to SkyDome, SkyRex and 3D Art Langkawi, and depending on the option you can add the SkyBridge, glass bottom or 360 gondolas, the Eagle Nest SkyWalk, Machinchang Petland, 6D Cinemotion or the Express Lane.

Glide over jungle and ancient rock

SkyCab is one of the steepest cable car rides in the world. It passes over 550-million-year-old rock in one of the oldest parts of Southeast Asia, lush rainforest, waterfalls and the sparkling Andaman Sea, with glimpses of the surrounding flora and fauna. Standard gondolas are shared with other visitors, up to 6 per cabin, or you can choose a glass bottom gondola with a transparent floor or a 360 gondola with wider views.

Explore the SkyBridge and viewpoints at the top

At the top station, take in Langkawi's mountains, islands and the Andaman Sea. Walk the SkyBridge, a curved suspension bridge between two peaks, for close-up views over the treetops. With the SkyGlide option, an inclined lift takes you comfortably between the top station and the SkyBridge. The Eagle Nest SkyWalk option takes you onto an eagle-shaped platform extending outward for panoramic photos.

Add more fun at the base station

At Oriental Village, home to the base station, visit SkyDome, SkyRex and 3D Art Langkawi. The Machinchang Petland option is a family-friendly experience with birds, reptiles, small mammals and more, while 6D Cinemotion is a short film experience with motion seats and wind and vibration effects. The Express Lane option lets you skip the regular queue and board faster.
