at Malaysia's National Zoo

Zoo Negara is Malaysia's National Zoo in Ulu Klang, Selangor, about 5 km from central Kuala Lumpur. It opened on 14 November 1963 and is managed by the Malaysian Zoological Society.

Spread over about 110 acres, it is home to more than 5,000 mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. This ticket gives you one day of admission to the zoo, including the Giant Panda Conservation Centre. The zoo is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Your ticket includes entry to the Giant Panda Conservation Centre. The centre is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with last entry at 4:30 PM.

Meet different animals in each themed zone

It is an open-concept zoo where over 90% of the animals live in spacious exhibits landscaped to suit their nature. See tigers, lions, elephants, giraffes, orangutans and more in themed zones such as the African Savannah, Malaysian Rainforest and Reptile Park.

At the heart of the zoo, the Mini Bee Museum introduces the many types of bees found in Malaysia.

Don't miss the animal show and feeding sessions

The Multi-Animal Show featuring sea lions, macaques and macaws runs Saturday to Thursday at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. It is closed on Fridays except during school holidays and public holidays.

On weekends and public holidays, feeding sessions take place at Children's World (12:00–1:00 PM) and Javan Deer (2:00–3:00 PM). Feeding is only allowed under the supervision of zoo staff.
