After pickup from your hotel in Vang Vieng, you travel about 30 minutes by car to Nam Xay Viewpoint. The tour lasts about 5 hours, and an expert local guide accompanies you throughout to keep you safe. You choose the start time when booking.
Climb Nam Xay Viewpoint for karst mountain views
Hike along the mountain trail to the viewpoint for about 1 hour 30 minutes. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of Vang Vieng's iconic limestone karst mountains, green rice fields and beautiful countryside. Depending on conditions, the tour may go to Pha Ngern Viewpoint instead.
See the golden Buddha in Tham Phu Kham Cave
After the hike, travel about 10 minutes by tuk-tuk to the Blue Lagoon and Tham Phu Kham (Golden Cave) complex. Both are located in the same area. Explore the limestone cave with its stalactites and sacred golden Buddha.
Cool off with a swim at the Blue Lagoon
Swim in the clear turquoise water of the Blue Lagoon, relax in the shade, or jump into the water from the rope swing. After about 1 hour 30 minutes at the cave and lagoon, travel about 30 minutes by tuk-tuk back to Vang Vieng.
