This small-group kayak tour of about 3 hours starts at 8:45 AM at K Coffee near Hoi An Ancient Town. With an English-speaking guide, up to 8 people paddle along the river from the Ancient Town to the Cam Thanh mangrove forest, and a stand-up paddleboard is also available instead of a kayak. Transport back to your hotel is provided after the tour.
Set off along the Ancient Town riverside after a safety briefing
At K Coffee, get a safety briefing and prepare your kayak, paddle, dry bag, and life jacket. At 9:00 AM, paddle gently toward the heart of the Ancient Town and see its yellow houses reflected on the river up close.
Enter nipa palm–lined waterways in the coconut forest
Paddle along the river into the coconut forest of Cam Thanh, where nipa palms grow. Your guide explains how the forest provides locals with fish, shellfish, and nipa leaves used for roofing.
Finish with a cold drink at the kayak station
The tour ends with one cold drink at the kayak station in Cam Thanh. Bottled water is provided during the tour, and transport back to your hotel is available afterwards.
