This private tour picks you up from your hotel in Hue and takes you by dragon boat on the Perfume River and by private air-conditioned car to Thien Mu Pagoda, the royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty, and Thuy Xuan Incense Village. Depending on the option, you are accompanied by an English-speaking driver only or by a tour guide, and you can choose to visit 2 or 3 tombs. Bottled water is provided, and you are dropped back at your hotel after the tour.

Ride a dragon boat to Thien Mu Pagoda

Board a traditional dragon boat for a relaxing 30-minute cruise on the Perfume River. Your first stop is Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest and most iconic religious buildings in Hue. Built in the 17th century, it is deeply rooted in legend and religious significance.

Visit the royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty

From the pagoda, your driver picks you up by private car and takes you to the tombs. The grand Tomb of Minh Mang, the second emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, is part of a UNESCO World Heritage complex and is considered one of the most beautiful and best-preserved royal tombs in Vietnam.

The Tomb of Khai Dinh on Chau Chu Mountain blends Vietnamese and European architecture. Set in a peaceful valley, the Tomb of Tu Duc was a retreat where the emperor wrote poetry and relaxed, with beautifully designed gardens and lakes.

Make incense at Thuy Xuan Incense Village

Finally, stop at Thuy Xuan Incense Village to see the traditional incense-making process. Try making incense yourself and take photos in front of the colorful incense bundles.
