Kahoku-cho in Kami City, Kochi, is the hometown of Takashi Yanase, the creator of Anpanman. This shared ticket gives entry to both the Anpanman Museum and the Poem and Märchen Gallery at the memorial hall, set in a mountain town surrounded by nature. With no complicated paintings and no fixed viewing order, both children and adults can enjoy it easily.

The Yanase Takashi Gallery on the 4th floor, the heart of the museum, displays drawings of Anpanman and friends that Takashi Yanase created especially for this museum and that can only be seen here. In the basement, Anpanman World lets you experience the world where the characters live, and the walls, floors and stairs are full of little surprises featuring Anpanman and friends.
Explore the artist's colorful world
The Poem and Märchen Gallery showcases the cover illustrations and cuts Takashi Yanase created from the first issue of the magazine Poem and Märchen, along with his poetry and manga. Two to three times a year, it holds special exhibitions of original artwork by artists associated with the magazine and picture book authors from Japan and abroad.
