in Yokohama's Kanazawa Nature Park

This is an admission ticket to Kanazawa Zoo, located in Kanazawa Nature Park in Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama. The zoo mainly exhibits herbivores from around the world, surrounded by lush forest and walking trails.

Opening hours are 09:30 to 16:30, with last entry at 16:00. The zoo is closed on Mondays and during the year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 1).

Meet animals from four continents

In exhibits divided into the Americas, Eurasia, Oceania and Africa zones, you can see animals such as koalas, reticulated giraffes, gibbons, rhinos, Asian elephants and South American tapirs.

Take your time walking through the large exhibits designed to resemble the animals' natural habitats.

Get close to animals at the plaza

At the plaza where ponies, goats, sheep and other livestock gather, you can see animals up close. It is a great spot to enjoy nature with children.

Nature park walks and Tokyo Bay views

The zoo is surrounded by a green nature park, perfect for a relaxing stroll. From the observatory in the park, you can look out over Tokyo Bay, including Hakkeijima.
