This set combines a leisurely boat ride through Geibikei Gorge in Ichinoseki, Iwate, with Ichinoseki specialty sweets from along the Ofunato Line and apple juice. Enjoy the gorge's seasonal scenery from the water: fresh greenery and flowers in spring, cool valley breezes in summer, autumn leaves in fall and snowy landscapes in winter. Enjoy the seasonal scenery
of Geibikei Gorge by boat
Check in at the Geibi Tourist Center and board a scheduled boat through Geibikei Gorge. Choose from departures at 09:30, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00. From December 1 to February 28, boats operate with kotatsu (heated tables), so you can stay warm while viewing the snowy gorge.
Feed the ducks and try the "Undama" lucky stone
Feed the ducks that swim after the boat. The set also includes an "Undama" lucky stone, which is said to make your wish come true if you toss it into a hole in the rock across the river.
Taste Ichinoseki sweets and apple juice
At check-in, you receive your boat ticket together with a set of Ichinoseki specialty sweets from along the Ofunato Line. The sweets can be picked up at the souvenir shop "Geibi Rest House" or a nearby shop.
