Highlights
A day tour to swim at Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls on the southern slopes of Mount Rinjani in Lombok and try traditional weaving in Sukarara village. From your hotel to
two Lombok waterfalls and a weaving village
Get picked up from your accommodation in Mataram, Senggigi, Mandalika or elsewhere in Lombok and drive about 1 hour in an air-conditioned vehicle. Stop briefly at Aik Berik village, surrounded by rice terraces and forest, to look around with your guide before heading to the waterfalls.
Swim at Benang Stokel Waterfall
Spend about 1 hour at Benang Stokel Waterfall, where water pours into a cool pool. Explore with your guide and relax with a swim below the falls.
Benang Kelambu, flowing like a curtain
At Benang Kelambu Waterfall, where thin streams fall like a curtain through the greenery, swim and enjoy the quiet jungle for about 1.5 hours. Then take a lunch break at a local restaurant (lunch not included).
Try traditional weaving in Sukarara village
Spend about 45 minutes in Sukarara weaving village, meeting local artisans and weaving traditional songket or ikat fabric yourself. Learn how natural dyes and patterns become finished textiles. Afterward, the drive back to your accommodation takes about 1.5 hours.
