Program
Day 1 | Vancouver → Whitehorse & Aurora Viewing
Fly from Vancouver to Whitehorse in the Yukon. Your tour guide will be waiting at Whitehorse Airport to take you to your accommodation. After check-in, enjoy some free time, then head out in the evening with a local guide for your first aurora viewing.
Day 2 | Whitehorse City Tour & Aurora Viewing
Explore the highlights, iconic landmarks and northern culture of Whitehorse amid winter scenery. Whitehorse is the capital of Yukon and grew as a Yukon River transport hub during the Klondike Gold Rush of the late 19th century. In the evening, look for the aurora again, with the viewing spot chosen according to the weather and cloud conditions.
Day 3 | Yukon Wildlife Preserve & Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs
Meet northern wildlife such as caribou, moose, arctic foxes and bison at the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. Then relax at Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs, surrounded by snowy forest. In the evening, watch for the aurora at a spot chosen for the weather, cloud cover and aurora conditions.
Day 4 | Whitehorse → Vancouver
Pack up and check out, and your tour guide will take you to Whitehorse Airport. Board your flight to Vancouver to wrap up your Yukon winter trip.
