Dubai Evening Desert Safari & Stargazing with Camel Ride (Hotel Pickup)

Head into the Dubai desert
by 4WD for an evening safari

After pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned 4WD, drive about 45 minutes to the desert. On the way, your guide shares stories about Bedouin life and traditions.

Cross the endless red dunes on a desert drive and stop at scenic viewpoints for photos. Keep an eye out for antelopes and gazelles darting between the shrubs. The Sunset Safari (Golden Hour Experience) option includes time for sunset photos against the golden dunes.

Enjoy Arabic hospitality at the Al Marmoom Oasis camp

At the desert camp, you are welcomed with traditional Arabic coffee and tea, fresh dates and cold water. Meet the Arabian falcons and horses living at the camp for photos, and go sandboarding under the stars.

Ride a camel and look for wildlife under the moonlight

Just as the Bedouins crossed the desert, ride a camel across the oasis under the moonlight carrying a traditional kerosene lamp. You can repeat the short camel ride.

Then walk through the dark desert with your guide, see greenery in the middle of the desert, and observe desert animals and birds such as peacocks, flamingos, migratory birds, guinea fowl, ducks, gazelles and Arabian oryx.

Observe the desert night sky through telescopes

As night falls, join the signature "Stories & Stars" session. Stargaze with your guide through high-powered telescopes and watch a demonstration of Bedouin star navigation, showing how nomads used the sky as a map. Your guide also shares tips for night-sky photography in low light.

If you choose the option with an Arabic dinner set, continue your evening with a traditional Arabic dinner set at the camp.
