This beginner safari in Levi, Finnish Lapland, lets you drive a snowmobile yourself, the locals' favourite way to travel through snow-covered forests. An experienced snowmobile guide first shows you how to drive, then leads you along maintained snowmobile tracks through white forests and over frozen lakes. There is a break with hot drinks and cookies along the way, and winter clothing is provided. Children can join by riding in a sled attached to the guide's snowmobile, making it a good fit for family trips.

Starting from the pickup point you chose when booking, you put on winter clothing and learn the basics of driving from an experienced snowmobile guide. Two people share one snowmobile, and under Finnish law only those aged 18 or over with a valid driving licence can drive.

Follow maintained snowmobile tracks through snow-covered forests and across frozen waters, taking in Lapland's quiet winter scenery. The driving speed is set according to the weather and the participants' driving skills.

Midway through the safari, you stop for a short break with hot drinks and cookies. Children aged 4–14 ride in a sled attached behind the guide's snowmobile. The whole activity takes about 2 hours.
※ Driving speed and route may vary depending on weather conditions.
