Qasr Al Watan is a cultural landmark opened within the Presidential Palace compound in Abu Dhabi. Start at the Visitor Center and freely explore the palace, the gardens and all exhibition and public areas. You can use the on-site parking or the shuttle bus within the compound.
A palace interior full of Arab craftsmanship
Admire the beauty of Arab craftsmanship in halls decorated with a huge dome, intricate geometric patterns and dazzling chandeliers. Exhibitions also explain the role the UAE's ruling traditions and government institutions have played.
Artifacts, manuscripts and the Qasr Al Watan Library
Browse artifacts and manuscripts of the Arab world that contributed to fields such as science, art, the humanities and literature. You can also step inside the Qasr Al Watan Library, which holds a vast collection of books and resources about the UAE.
Expansive gardens and an evening light and sound show
Stroll through the large gardens surrounding the palace and capture the white palace in photos. From 7:30 p.m., the light and sound show "Palace in Motion" is projected onto the palace walls for about 14 minutes.
※ A guided tour in English or Arabic (about 1 hour) can be booked on site for an extra fee.
