Wild Wadi Water Park sits beside the Burj Al Arab in Jumeirah, Dubai. Themed around the Arabian folk tale of Juha and his seafaring friend Sindbad, it has won a World Waterpark Association award for design and theming. The park opens daily from 10:00 to 18:00.

Thrilling slides and water coasters

Among more than 25 rides, favourites include Jumeirah Sceirah, a 33-metre free-fall slide; Master Blaster, an uphill water roller coaster; and Ring Rides with single or double rings. Wipeout and Riptide produce a realistic wave effect.

Wave pool and kids’ areas

Ride the waves at Breakers Bay, the largest wave pool of its kind in the Middle East, and relax on sun loungers under umbrellas. Kids’ areas such as Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon offer shallow pools, interactive water features and small slides for young children.
