This is a night cruise on the Pearl River in Guangzhou aboard Jixiang Fang (“Auspicious Boat”), a new electric cruise boat that began sailing in May 2026. Inspired by the royal courts of the Nanyue Kingdom (203–111 BCE), the boat is decorated with a black-and-red color palette, bronze-age Baiyue tribal patterns and symmetrical palace layouts, so it feels like a floating Nanyue culture museum. The 46 m long, 13.5 m wide boat carries up to 435 passengers through a three-act experience across three levels.

Enter through a Qin-Han dynasty style archway into a banquet hall decorated with bronze patterns and Han-style lighting. Ceremonial performances are staged on a 75.57 sq m LED screen, and Cantonese dishes are served in Han-dynasty-style vessels. On the second-deck mezzanine, performers weave through the dining tables, the ceiling LED syncs with the first-floor stage, and floor-to-ceiling windows frame the glittering Pearl River skyline.

The third-deck rooftop has an archaeological gallery displaying Nanyue site maps and territorial charts. The open-air observation deck offers unobstructed 360° views of Canton Tower, Haixinsha Island and the Liede Bridge glowing against the night sky. The hull is decorated with golden dragon reliefs, and the fully electric lithium-battery system with azimuth thrusters means zero emissions and near-zero noise. The catamaran hull is very stable, making the ride comfortable even for those prone to seasickness.

The F1 option includes a first-class seat on the night cruise, a Chinese-style night meal, traditional Chinese dance and singing performances, actor interaction and a special gift meal box. The F2 option includes a dim sum set. Cruise times are 18:30–20:35 for F1 and 18:35–20:30 for F2.
