This 3-hour tour starts and ends at a Bollywood studio near Terminal 2 of Mumbai International Airport. It was created by Bollywood actor and screenwriter Rahil Khan, and most guides are also actors, singers and dancers working in Bollywood, so you see the studio through the eyes of industry insiders. The operator is a studio-approved tour partner that has worked with the studio for 12 years.
Explore the sets and real filming locations
Look around the studio's sets, stages and facilities, and if the schedule allows, watch actors and crew create scenes up close at a TV show, commercial, reality show or film shoot. Depending on permission and availability, you may also take photos and have a short chat with actors and staff.
You also visit the sound and dubbing rooms on the same premises to learn how dubbing, voice-over and sound mixing work.
Enjoy a live Bollywood song and dance show
Professional dancers perform a 1-hour Bollywood song and dance show prepared for visitors in a cozy, air-conditioned 25-seat auditorium. Toward the end of the show, you can learn a few Bollywood dance moves with the dancers if you like.
Learn about Bollywood through videos and join in
Watch three 8-minute videos about the 100-year history of Bollywood, special effects and filmmaking technology used in Bollywood films, and the studio's sets, stages and facilities, and ask any questions about Bollywood and India. If you like, you can sing and record your favorite song in the karaoke room, or on request star in a "1-minute Bollywood film" written and directed by Rahil Khan.
