and explore Capri by boat

Take a high-speed train from Roma Termini to Naples, transfer by minivan to the port of Piano di Sorrento and explore the island of Capri by boat. After free time on Capri, you return to Rome by the same route. The whole trip takes about 13 hours.

Travel to the port by high-speed train and minivan

At 7:00 AM you board a high-speed train at Roma Termini to Naples. The train runs independently of the tour, and the train tickets for the tour are sent by email on the day before the tour.

After arriving at Naples Central Station, meet your driver outside the Star Hotel Terminus at 8:45 AM and travel by minivan or minibus to the port of Piano di Sorrento.

Circle the island of Capri by boat

From the port you sail to Capri. You circle the island and see the Marvelous Grotto, the White Grotto and the Green Grotto, and you also pass the Natural Arch, Villa Curzio Malaparte, the Faraglioni rocks and the Punta Carena Lighthouse.

There are stops where you can swim and snorkel, and breaks on board with snacks and drinks. Because of long waiting times, a Blue Grotto stop is not included in the itinerary.

Spend free time on Capri and head back

You get 3 to 5 hours of free time on Capri. If you want to see the Blue Grotto, you can visit it during this free time.

On the way back there is a limoncello tasting on the boat. From the port of Piano di Sorrento you travel to Naples Central Station and take the high-speed train back to Rome.
