This day tour takes an Italo high-speed train in first class from Venezia Santa Lucia to Verona, followed by about 2 hours of walking through the old town with a certified guide. The train ride takes about 70 minutes each way, and round-trip Italo first class tickets are included.

You meet the guide in Verona for the walking tour, followed by about 2 hours of free time. The return train leaves after 3:30 PM. The guide speaks English or Italian.

Travel comfortably in Italo first class

You depart from and return to Venezia Santa Lucia station. On the train you relax in first class seats, and your tickets and train times are sent in a message the day before the tour. You travel to and from Verona on your own and meet the guide and the rest of the group in Verona.

Walk from Castelvecchio to Piazza delle Erbe

The walking route passes Castelvecchio with its Scaliger Bridge and the Arco dei Gavi before reaching Piazza Bra, where you can see the Roman amphitheater, Verona Arena, famous for opera.

You then pass Porta Borsari and walk to Piazza delle Erbe, surrounded by frescoed buildings, and Piazza dei Signori with its statue of Dante.

Stop at Juliet’s Balcony

The tour ends at Juliet’s Balcony, known from the legend of Romeo and Juliet. Your guide tells the story, and you can enjoy the atmosphere of the place.
