Spain and Portugal for 7 days
This 7-day coach tour starts in Madrid and passes through Zaragoza, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Granada, Mijas, Málaga, Ronda, Seville, Cabo da Roca, Lisbon and Toledo before returning to Madrid. An English-speaking tour guide is with you on the road, and you stay overnight in or near Zaragoza, Barcelona, Alicante, Málaga, Seville and Lisbon.
Pass through Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona
On day 1 you see central Madrid, including the Cibeles Fountain, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de España, Plaza de Colón and Puerta del Sol, and view the Royal Palace from outside. In the afternoon you travel to Zaragoza to see Plaza del Pilar and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar.
On day 2 you travel to Barcelona, see the exterior of the Sagrada Família and, if possible, stop near Camp Nou. You enjoy city views from Montjuïc and also see La Rambla and Plaça de Catalunya. A guided city walking tour of about 1 hour is held in Barcelona.
Explore Valencia and the cities of Andalusia
On day 3 you travel along the Mediterranean coast to Valencia to see the old town, local squares, the old city gate and the cathedral area before continuing to Alicante.
On day 4 you visit the Alhambra area in Granada, then stop at Mijas, a white mountain village overlooking the Costa del Sol, before continuing to Málaga. On day 5 you visit Ronda, perched on a cliff, and see the Seville Cathedral area, the Alcázar area, Santa Cruz district, Torre del Oro, María Luisa Park and Plaza de España in Seville.
Cross to Lisbon, stop in Toledo and return to Madrid
On day 6 you cross into Portugal for a short stop at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, with views of the Atlantic coast. In Lisbon you see the Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and the Jerónimos Monastery area, and have free time in the city.
On the last day you leave Lisbon and stop in Toledo, a historic city surrounded by the Tagus River and old city walls. Walk the old town, see the Toledo Alcázar and the cathedral area, then return to Madrid, where the tour ends.

Meet next to the Monument to Felipe IV in Plaza de Oriente, Madrid. The meeting time is 9 AM on Monday or Saturday. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early and wait next to the statue. Meet your guide, who leads you to the coach, and the tour starts with sightseeing in Madrid before heading to Zaragoza. Late arrivals cannot be waited for, and missed services are not refundable.
