Leave Paris and spend 7 days exploring
Switzerland, Italy and southern France
Meet at the meeting point near Place d'Italie in Paris and set off by coach. After meeting, the tour does not visit Paris and heads straight to Lucerne, Switzerland. An English-speaking tour manager and a licensed bus driver accompany you, and you stay in 3–4 star hotels at night. Expect long drives every day.
Pass through Lucerne and Milan on the way to Venice
On day 1, cross the France–Switzerland border and arrive in Lucerne while enjoying views of lakes and mountains. On day 2, explore Milan's Piazza del Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, then continue to Venice. In Venice, stroll around St. Mark's Square and feel the atmosphere of a canal city where gondolas glide by.
Discover the heritage of ancient Rome and the Vatican
On day 3, travel from Venice to Rome and see the Colosseum and the triumphal arch. On day 4, visit St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, then move on to Arezzo in Tuscany.
Pass Florence and Pisa, then follow the Mediterranean coast back to Paris
On day 5, look out over Florence and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore from Piazzale Michelangelo, see the white-marble Leaning Tower of Pisa, then travel to Genoa. On day 6, pass through Monte Carlo in Monaco, Nice and Cannes before arriving in Avignon. On the final day 7, stop in Dijon and return to Paris, where the tour ends at the original meeting point.
