Program
Meet Busan's sea at a coastal skywalk
and a seaside temple
Meet your guide at the cruise terminal and ride by van to the Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk. Walk the 72.5 m ocean skywalk with its transparent glass floor for about 30 minutes, enjoying views of the sea, the coastline and passing trains. Then explore Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, set between the mountains and the sea, with your guide for about 1 hour, and make a wish. You can also try Busan snacks such as hotteok and fish cakes.
Relax at a hanok cafe and cross Gwangandaegyo Bridge
Relax for about 30 minutes over tea at a traditional hanok cafe while listening to the gentle sound of the gayageum (tea is at your own expense). During cherry blossom season (usually mid-March to early April), stop for about 15 minutes of photos on the Samick Beach Town cherry blossom road, where rainbow-coloured apartments meet pink blossoms. Then drive across the 7.4 km Gwangandaegyo Bridge spanning Gwangalli Beach.
Walk Jagalchi Market, BIFF Square and Gukje Market
Take about 1 hour for lunch in Busan (lunch is at your own expense). With your guide, explore Jagalchi Fish Market, which began when refugee women sold fish here after the Korean War (about 30 minutes), BIFF Square with handprints of famous actors and directors (about 15 minutes), and Gukje Market, packed with fashion, food, souvenirs and electronics (about 45 minutes).
Explore the colourful Gamcheon Culture Village
Walk for about 1 hour through Gamcheon Culture Village, which reflects the lives of refugees after the Korean War. Today it is one of Busan's top sights, full of colourful houses, murals and artworks. At the end of the tour, return to the cruise terminal where you started.
※ If Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk is closed due to bad weather or unexpected circumstances, Dongsaengmal Observatory will be visited instead.
