Sultan Mehmed Hammam is a Turkish bath inside the 5-star Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Istanbul Sultanahmet in Istanbul's Old City. It is located in the Old City, home to sights such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace and the Basilica Cistern, so it is easy to fit between sightseeing.
The shared bath is mixed-gender and limited to a maximum of 5 guests per time slot. Towels and slippers are provided, and Turkish coffee, tea and water are available.
Refresh your skin with a kese scrub and foam massage
A female therapist exfoliates your whole body with a kese, the traditional scrub mitt, followed by a full-body foam massage with rich lather. The bath, scrub and foam massage last about 30 minutes.
If you prefer to do it yourself without a therapist, choose the DIY option. Scrub gloves, cosmetics, towels and slippers are provided.
Relax in the sauna and steam room and add a classic massage
Warm up and relax in the sauna and steam room. If you choose a massage option, you will receive a 30- or 60-minute classic massage in a private room after the bath. A face mask may be included depending on the option.
The session lasts about 50 minutes for DIY or bath only, about 85 minutes with a 30-minute massage, and about 115 minutes with a 60-minute massage.
