This 2-hour visit with a local English-speaking guide lets you watch professional wrestlers' morning practice (asageiko) up close at a real sumo stable (heya). See training rarely open to outsiders, from stretching and sumo-specific footwork drills to intense butsukari geiko that builds strength and technique. Your guide explains the stable's customs, viewing etiquette and the meaning of the training, deepening your understanding of sumo culture. Choose the city that matches the tournament schedule: Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka or Nagoya.

Meet your local English-speaking guide at the meeting point provided after booking. Before entering, your guide explains morning practice etiquette. This is a real training space, not a performance, so inside you must stay quiet and follow the guide and stable staff.

Depending on the stable and schedule, some visits may include time after practice to learn more about sumo culture and interact with the wrestlers.
