it was an incredible experience and makes you wonder how 60 men circumnavigated the World on this ship ( a replica of the original) Mind your head! I am only 5ft 1 and bumped my head a few times on the timbers! . The lady in the kiosk was so helpful and interesting and made the experience more enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone the a walk back in time.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Golden Hinde in London - it’s a full-size reconstruction of Sir Francis Drake’s famous ship, and being able to walk through it was such a unique experience. The decks are tight and low-ceilinged, which really gives you a sense of what life at sea was like for sailors in the 16th century, and I found the mix of history about Drake’s circumnavigation and the ship’s modern voyages really fascinating.
