Admire the Gothic Masterpiece of Milan Cathedral

Look at the facade decorated with countless spires, statues and fine carvings, then pass through the bronze doors depicting biblical scenes and the history of Milan to enter the interior. Light passing through the stained-glass windows and the high vaulted ceiling create a quiet atmosphere.

Walk through the central nave and the many altars and chapels, and see the statue of Saint Bartholomew holding his own skin, the bronze candelabra by the main altar and the carved wooden choir stalls.

Discover the Cathedral's History at the Duomo Museum

At the Duomo Museum (Museo del Duomo) next to the cathedral, you can see original statues, tapestries and architectural models. You can also learn about the historical background of the Duomo and the tools and techniques used to build it.

The ticket also includes a visit to the Church of San Gottardo. The museum is closed every Wednesday.

Enjoy an Aperitif Overlooking the Duomo

Enjoy an Italian-style aperitif at a spot with a view of the Duomo. Choose between alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, served with dry snacks.

The aperitif is available at 'Terrazza Duomo 21' every day from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. On Wednesdays, when the museum is closed, you can still enter the Duomo and enjoy the aperitif at a local bar.
