to Cairo

Get picked up from your hotel in Hurghada late at night or early in the morning, depending on your hotel location and the confirmed pickup schedule. Travel about 6 hours to Cairo by air-conditioned van, with stops at rest areas and security checkpoints along the way.

On arrival in Cairo, meet your professional tour guide. The guide language depends on the language option chosen at booking, and the guide leads you in a clear, structured order that suits first-time visitors.

Discover ancient Egyptian treasures at the museum

Spend about 2 hours with your guide at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, exploring highlights of ancient Egyptian civilization including statues, treasures and important royal artifacts. If you choose the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) option, you visit the new museum instead.

The Pyramids-only option does not include museum entry, so you wait until the rest of the group finishes the museum visit before continuing.

See the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx at Giza

After lunch at a local restaurant, head to the Giza Plateau. Spend about 2 hours 30 minutes exploring the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure and the Great Sphinx while your guide explains their history in an easy-to-understand way, with time for photos and questions.

Entry inside the pyramids is not included; you can choose to go inside on the day for an extra fee. There may also be time for an optional Nile boat ride at extra cost.

Visit local shops and return to Hurghada

The tour may include short stops at local shops such as a papyrus gallery, souvenir shops or perfume shops; purchases are entirely optional. After sightseeing, travel about 6 hours back to Hurghada by air-conditioned vehicle, arriving at your hotel in the late evening or at night depending on traffic, road conditions and hotel location.
