From Hurghada: Luxor Hot Air Balloon & Felucca 2-Day Tour - Hotel Stay Included

Depart from Hurghada and
explore the temples of Luxor's East Bank

Get picked up from your accommodation in Hurghada at 5:00 AM and travel about 4 hours to Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle. On arrival, enjoy an Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant before starting your tour.

First, visit Luxor Temple on the East Bank, an important religious center of ancient Egypt built over centuries by pharaohs such as Amenhotep III, Ramses II and Tutankhamun. Next, explore Karnak Temple, a vast temple complex with precincts dedicated to Amun-Ra, Mut and Montu.

Sail the Nile on a felucca at sunset

After checking in to your hotel in Luxor, you will be picked up again around sunset for a ride on a traditional felucca on the Nile. Then enjoy dinner at a restaurant and return to your hotel for the night.

Fly over Luxor in a sunrise hot air balloon

Early on day two, check out of your hotel with your luggage and head to the balloon launch site. Watch the balloons inflate and rise, then enjoy views of Luxor and its temples from the sky.

Explore the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut on the West Bank

After the flight, head to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings with its 63 royal tombs. Then visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, built on a grander scale next to the temple of Mentuhotep II, and stop briefly at the Colossi of Memnon for photos.

Ride a camel through a village and see local life and traditional farming up close. After an Egyptian lunch, you will be driven back to your accommodation in Hurghada.
