Head by 4x4 to the Edge of the World
on the Najd Plateau
Meet your guide at Tijan Plaza in Riyadh and ride for about 2 hours across the Najd Plateau desert in an air-conditioned 4x4. The guide speaks Arabic and English. Private options include 4x4 pickup from your accommodation.
Walk the summit of the Edge of the World and take in the views
At the Edge of the World, spend about 2 hours on a guided tour, walking, hiking and camp activities while visiting scenic viewpoints. Hike on the summit for about 30 minutes and enjoy sweeping views of the Najd Plateau from the cliff edge.
Continue hiking in the Tuwaiq Mountains
Drive about 30 minutes to the Tuwaiq Mountains for a hike of about 1 hour 30 minutes. There is time to photograph the Tuwaiq landscapes, and the tour also includes a stop to see camels.
Watch the sunset and return to Riyadh
Watch the blue sky turn to sunset colors with the group. After sunset, drive about 1 hour 30 minutes back to Riyadh and get off at the same place as the meeting point. Snacks and bottled water are provided during the tour.
