Put on a harness and move from tree to tree on the treetop courses at Forest Adventure Beppu, an outdoor park in the forest next to Lake Shidaka in the hot spring town of Beppu. Choose between the dynamic Adventure Course, about 10 m high on average, and the Canopy Course, about 1–8 m above the ground and great for families trying it for the first time, then book a 10:00 or 14:00 time slot. It is about 10 minutes by car from Beppu IC and about 20 minutes from Yufuin, so it pairs well with a hot spring trip.
