From Cebu: Oslob Whale Shark & Moalboal Sardine Run Tour with Monkey Sanctuary

Leave your hotel at 4:00–5:00 AM
and head to Oslob

Pickup from your hotel in Cebu City or Lapu-Lapu (Mactan) usually takes place between 4:00 and 5:00 AM, giving you a little more rest than tours that leave very early. Drive about 3 hours along a scenic coastal road to Oslob. You can choose a small group tour or a private tour for your party only.

Swim with whale sharks in Oslob

Gear up with free snorkeling equipment and enter the clear water with a professional guide to swim alongside whale sharks. The activity lasts about 1 hour and respects the whale sharks' habitat. An underwater photographer takes photos with a GoPro.

Meet monkeys at the monkey sanctuary

After the whale sharks, stop at a monkey watching point in Oslob for about 45 minutes. You can see playful monkeys swinging through the trees up close in their natural environment, which is fun for all ages.

Meet sardine schools and sea turtles in Moalboal

After a drive of about 2 hours to Moalboal, enjoy about 2 hours of snorkeling. Watch thousands of sardines swimming in schools, and you may also meet sea turtles. Then rest for about 30 minutes, with the option to have a local seafood lunch on the beach separately.

On the way back, stop at a local snack spot to taste Cebu treats such as fresh coconut, grilled corn and rice cakes, then drive about 3 hours back to your hotel.
