Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Street-Food-Tour durch Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt! Ein riesiges Dankeschön an unsere Guides Brian und Harry, die super lieb, herzlich und unglaublich sympathisch waren. Sie haben uns zu authentischen lokalen Essensspots abseits der Touristenviertel geführt, die wir alleine niemals entdeckt hätten. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und mehr als reichlich – wir waren danach definitiv satt! Dazu haben Brian und Harry uns viel über das Essen und die Kultur erzählt und uns tolle Tipps für weitere Restaurants und Aktivitäten gegeben. Wir haben die Tour mittags gemacht, was super war, da die Straßen weniger voll waren und wir ganz entspannt überall hinkamen. Auch die kleine Gruppe von vier Personen +2 Guides war perfekt. Insgesamt eine fantastische Erfahrung, die sich absolut gelohnt hat! Wir würden die Tour jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Our tour was led by Andy, a HCM local who showed us some of the best food in various districts. He expertly led us through alleys, night markets and family -run businesses that tourists would never find. As well as sampling many delicious dishes, Andy was a fantastic host talking about Vietnamese culture, family life and the complex history of the country and specifically Saigon. We feel invigorated after such a fun, inspiring and flavourful evening in Andy's company.

What a great experience. I was part of a small group, led by tour guides Andy and Kevin. They were both very engaging, very helpful guides and spoke perfect English. The food was really tasty and a lot of variety, and not just your basic tourist traps. It was all local run, traditional restaurants and street vendors. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody interested.

We really enjoyed our food tour experience. Emma was such a wonderful tour guide. She was an absolute delight and we were in very safe hands. The food was delicious and so interesting. Luckily we had skipped lunch!! We would highly recommend this tour.

This small-group food tour takes you with a local guide to Ho Chi Minh City street food spots that most tourists miss, so you can eat and drink like a local. Taste 10 southern Vietnamese dishes such as banh cuon, bo kho, banh mi, banh xeo and che mam, along with Saigon beer, while hearing the stories and traditions behind the food. All food and drinks plus taxi or Grab transport are included, with pickup from hotels in Districts 1, 3 and 4.

Walk to Saigon street food stalls loved by locals
with your guide

Your guide arrives at your accommodation 5 minutes before the tour and travels with you by Grab. Visit street food stalls that have passed down southern flavors for generations while hearing stories and traditions of Saigon. The total walking distance is about 2.7 km, and the tour lasts about 3.5 hours.

Taste southern dishes from banh cuon to bo kho

Try banh cuon, thin steamed rice sheets filled with minced pork and mushrooms; chuoi nuong, banana grilled in banana leaves with coconut milk; and bo kho, a Vietnamese beef stew with glass noodles. Next come bo nuong sa, minced beef grilled with lemongrass, and Vietnamese pizza topped with butter, cheese, egg and sausage.

Continue with Saigon beer, banh mi and banh xeo

Over Saigon beer, taste bo la lot (minced beef wrapped in betel leaves and grilled), banh mi as locals eat it, and crispy banh xeo filled with shrimp and pork. Finish with che mam, a sweet Vietnamese dessert. After the tour, your guide will send you photos taken during the tour and, on request, a list of the food.
