It’s fun for the first 15 minutes, but then reality kicks in. While the booking was easy and the staff were helpful with the gear, driving a tiny kart among massive buses and trucks in Osaka traffic is genuinely terrifying. You’re inhaling exhaust fumes the whole time, and the seats are not comfortable at all. It’s also hard to ignore the annoyed looks from local Japanese drivers who clearly hate these karts. It’s a great photo op for your Instagram, but as an actual activity, it’s overpriced and feels more like a dangerous tourist trap than a fun sightseeing tour. Do it once if you must, but one hour is more than enough.
