Park Güell is divided into paid and free zones. The interior is quite large, so it's not easy to see everything in one day. To see the most significant works, I recommend focusing on the paid zone.

Entry to the paid zone is currently through the central square on the back side, which requires a considerable walk. Looking at the map, entering through Zone A and walking to the central square is quite a distance, so I recommend wearing comfortable sneakers.

Starting from the Lizard Sculpture

Do you know the myths about the lizard and sculptures in the central fountain at the park's main entrance? The lizard symbolizes alchemy, and the snake head with bronze horns symbolizes Asclepius, the god of medicine. There's a superstition that touching this snake head brings good luck, so take a photo and touch it!

Doric Columns

What's unique about the central square are the 86 columns that support it. The upper part of the columns is decorated with four suns made of bottles and stones, which are said to represent the four seasons. It's amazing to see how they came up with this idea.
